Most jackets hang out in closets, ride around in car trunks, or get left on the back of a folding chair after Saturday’s soccer game. Not this one.
The Constant Mountain rain jacket packed up, zipped up, and joined the ATLATL Media Trout Challenge. And it turns out… our jacket is surprisingly good at fishing.
From Sidelines to Stream Banks
Constant Mountain was made for the everyday parent. We’re talking about the real MVPs: the sideline dwellers, coffee-cup jugglers, snack distributors, and “yes, I’ll hold your water bottle” warriors.
We wanted to make a jacket that fits right into those everyday moments. But as it turns out, a jacket built for everyday parents is also a pretty great jacket for anyone else who needs to stay dry, stay comfy, and stay organized. That’s where the Trout Challenge comes in.
Because while our jackets look right at home in the school drop-off line, they’re also shockingly capable on a trout stream. And honestly? We think that’s pretty cool.
The Secret Sauce: Infinity Pocket & The Secure Pockets
Every superhero has a power-up. For Constant Mountain jackets, it’s the patented Infinity Pocket system.
-
Infinity Pockets: Think of them like the Mary Poppins bag of jackets. They run through the whole front — like a hoodie pocket, but smarter. You can stash snacks, gloves, a phone, a dog leash, a fly box, or your kid’s action figure (the one they had to bring). Basically, if you can carry it, the Infinity Pocket can hold it.
-
Secure Pockets: Hidden at the top of each opening to the Infinity Pocket, you’ll find small zippers. One on each side, these discreet Secure Pockets are perfect for your phone, keys, glasses, wallet, or anything else you want to keep safe. That way you still have traditional pockets if your jacket or vest is unzipped.
On the bleachers? Perfect for keeping hands warm while you clap. On the river? Perfect for holding a couple of flies, line clippers, and maybe a beef jerky stick.
Why Join the Trout Challenge?
We partnered with ATLATL Media on the High Country Trout Challenge because it’s not just about catching fish — it’s about telling stories.
The Trout Challenge brings together brands who care about experiences, memories, and making gear that works as good as it looks. That’s Constant Mountain to a T. We design jackets with parents in mind, but parents are explorers, too. From playgrounds to parks, from soccer fields to riversides, life’s adventures happen everywhere.
And when those adventures come with rain, wind, or the need to carry way more stuff than you thought possible — we’ve got you covered. Literally.
Beyond the Water
Yes, our jacket fished the Trout Challenge. But tomorrow? It’ll be back at the Little League fields. Next week? Most likely on the golf course. Next month? Making an appearance during lacrosse travel season.
That’s what Constant Mountain is all about: jackets that work everywhere life takes you — whether that’s waist-deep in a trout stream or sitting on ice-cold metal bleachers.
Closing Cast
So here’s the deal: our jackets aren’t trying to be the burliest thing in the backcountry or the fanciest thing in the closet. They’re built for real life. Rainstorms, ball games, puddles, playgrounds, fishing trips, and everything in between.
And the Trout Challenge gave us the perfect chance to prove that.
So next time you see someone pulling a juice box and a fly box out of the same pocket, you’ll know exactly what jacket they’re wearing.
Hint: it’s ours.
